Lanier Elementary Library is a place for learning and fun.  Come in, browse, read, and enjoy our books, magazines, and reference materials.

All students and teachers are encouraged to visit the library at least once a week. 

Remember, "reading is fundamental."

The Accelerated Reader Program is in full swing with students reading books and taking quizzes each week.  The program runs from the first through the fifth grades.  As students continue to read designated Accelerated Reader books along with their usual library books, we hope to see a rise in the reading comprehension and test scores of all students. 

Parents can find librarian's choice books, award winning books, and state choice books for their children at www.arbookfind.com.  Just click on the "Collections" tab once you reach the web site.  After that, click on the type of book list you would like to look at, and it will take you there.
